How Health Affects Your Positivity and Productivity. Part 1

We know that good health affects our weight, overall health, and our disease risk. But did you know it greatly affects our positivity and productivity?  Unfortunately, I don’t think it's talked about enough in the media.  In this 3 part series, I am going to give you some ideas on how you can change your current situation for the better. Even if you feel it is great, we can tweak it further. Each part will hopefully get you thinking about your own life and help you find ways to manipulate it in your favor.  

Health Is Your Biggest Asset

You may have heard some say that time is our biggest asset.  I would disagree with that statement and say that health is our biggest asset.  Without health, your retirement date and savings become insignificant.  Money is a great motivator, but it can’t come at the cost of your overall health.  Well, can’t I have both?  Absolutely.  That should be your life’s objective.

Positivity and Productivity Are More Than A Mindset

Positivity and productivity are typically discussed as a habit or mindset.  It has a lot to do with how a person sees and navigates different challenges or obstacles in their life.  Maybe you are born with a cheery disposition and a "can do" attitude. Or maybe, through some hardships and subsequent breakthroughs, you see the world and opportunities a little different and appreciate them more.  


What happens when we take the positive attributes and apply them to a person that is dealing with chronic sleep, stress, weight or health issues?   Would a positive mindset be enough to break through all these other challenges?  In some cases yes, in other cases, absolutely not!  We are all different physiologically.  We must take on these challenges so that we can move towards winning these battles daily.

The Relationship Between Health And Mindset

We all should know by now that when we feel good, we can accomplish more in life.  If you wake up with energy and on a quest to tackle the day, the world is your oyster.  If you are stumbling out of bed exhausted, sick and stressed out, your outlook may not be as clear. In Part 2 of this series, we’ll talk about small things you can do to steer you towards health and being more positive and productive.

It is all about starting with the fundamentals. Which if you think about it, is the basis of all that we can accomplish in this life.
