How Health Affects Your Positivity and Productivity. Part 3
In Part 2 of “How Health Affects Your Positivity and Productivity”, we discussed how addressing your health can prevent some of these chronic issues that can affect all of us. Making simple adjustments in your amounts of sleep and hydration, will help move the needle towards an overall healthy body and ultimately, mind. In this last part, I want to go over some of the not so obvious benefits of deciding to positively change your health. Let’s quickly scrape the surface of how these health benefits can play a role in cumulative psychological wins.
Your Body Dictates How You Feel and Perceive Everything
Do you have days where you just feel amazing? A day when you woke up and took care of meaningful tasks, had consistent energy throughout the day and felt accomplished by the days end? Some people might think that days like these only happen by chance. Fortunately, that is the furthest thing from the truth! Your attitude, demeanor, sleep patterns, outlook and immune system are all affected for better or for worse by your overall health. This is the core of what I am getting at. You can feel great, carry a positive attitude, and crush your productivity in business and in parenting at the same time.
Small Wins Are The Key
Big wins come from small and consistent changes. Feeling good at a cellular level creates an environment that increases your odds of having an overall better day, week, year and life. I have trouble with focus at times. (Ok. Who am I kidding. Let’s slightly increase that to all the time.) When I look back a few days into a solid lack of focus streak, I wonder what caused this lack of productivity. Typically, all the signs point directly to my diet, sleep and activity levels. It is just so important to think of your self as whole being instead of sectioning off areas to grade yourself. Small incremental wins lead to success long term. Anyone who we admire for their big achievements, built those achievements one brick at a time.
Small wins lead to a better you.
More Important Than Looks
Health is not just about looking good. It is not just about increasing your immune system and stabilizing your energy levels. Health is all of these things wrapped in one. You are a complete being, not just a brain and separate body. Realize that your output is a product of your input. Take control of what you input, both physically and mentality, to create a place of joy, productivity and positivity.

It can be a crazy world. The best option is still to look inwards. Happiness is still an inside job. Thoughts?
